HIDDEN HARMONIES - A Moving Reflection
July 5 - July 30, 2025
When Resonance Becomes Visible
What a month! For four weeks, my "Hidden Harmonies" told their stories - and over 1200 people listened. To be honest, I hadn't expected these very personal images about menopause and feminine transformation to touch so many people.
But that's exactly what happened: The photographs resonated.
Women stood before my images and I watched something relax in their faces. "Finally, someone sees me," one visitor told me. Another said: "I thought I was alone with these feelings." They weren't. They aren't. That became clearer than ever this month.
Conversations That Move
With about 20% of visitors, intensive conversations developed about menopause - conversations that often went far beyond art. Women shared their own transformations with me, their search for new identity, the strength that lies within this life phase. They recognized themselves in my work, felt seen.
And the men? Many came with a certain uncertainty but left with new understanding. "I understand my wife better now," was a comment that particularly touched me. Suddenly what often remains hidden became visible - the beauty and strength of this life phase.
New Horizons
What especially delights me: The exhibition created wonderful international connections. It shows me that these themes are universal - women in Arles, Barcelona, Kyoto, Melbourne and Hamburg experience similar transformations. This encourages me in my plan to publish these works in a book. A small, fine book that makes these hidden harmonies visible beyond the exhibition.
85% positive feedback - that's a gift. But even more important to me were the moments when art became a bridge. Between generations, between genders, between what we hide and what we're allowed to show.
From the Heart: THANK YOU
This exhibition was only possible through you - through every single visitor who took the time to truly look.
THANK YOU to every woman who entrusted me with her story. Who showed that my images are more than just photographs - they are mirrors in which we can discover ourselves.
THANK YOU to every man who came with an open heart and was ready to understand a world that might have been foreign to him.
THANK YOU for every conversation, every smile, every moment of connection. You filled these four walls with life and turned an exhibition into an encounter.
THANK YOU for your trust, your openness, and for discovering the hidden harmonies with me.
THANK YOU also to my husband and my family, who supported me with this project from the first idea to the last day of the exhibition. And a big THANK YOU to my wonderful neighborhood, who lent a helping hand whenever help was needed.
A special THANK YOU goes to my friend and photographer Ralf Hassenpflug for his mental as well as practical support - without his advice and help, much would not have been possible.
Without their patience, understanding, and practical help, this exhibition would not have been possible.
Without you, they would have been just pictures on the wall. With you, they became stories that live on.
Until next time - I look forward to discovering new resonances with you again.

he world is waiting to be seen anew -
HIDDEN HARMONIES
Resonance There are moments when time seems to stand still. When two separate worlds become one. When the female body becomes landscape and the landscape speaks to the soul. In nakedness lies
a truth that we hide beneath our clothing in everyday life. Not the truth of provocation, but that of homecoming. The woman returns to her origin – she is part of nature. Nature becomes both sanctuary and challenge. Here, between roots and branches, she needs no mask, no role, no external validation. Here she may simply be. It is like the biblical apple of knowledge - except that this knowledge does not lead to expulsion, but to arrival. The woman recognizes her own nature and feels the vibrations that have always been within her. In my photographs, I seek these moments of resonance - those magical seconds when human and nature begin to vibrate together.

New Worlds The rust tells of rain and years.
Broken glass becomes kaleidoscope. What seems past gives birth to unexpected beauty. Here lies no decay - here lies transformation. As autumn does
not destroy the leaves but transforms them, so time transforms everything into new forms of beauty.
In this series of images, I discover new worlds in what others consider lost.
Between the woman in the forest and the rusty
metal, harmonies emerge that only become
perceptible when we broaden our gaze. Both tell of life, of change, of the quiet poetry of being. My camera does not capture what is - it reveals what is possible. It shows connections that were always ther
e, just waiting to be seen. The world is full of hidden
resonances. Between femininity and wilderness,
between present and past, between the visible and the felt. You need only be ready to see anew. Ready for the beauty that emerges when everything begins to resonate together.
